🌎✈️ BIG NEWS for a local athlete! 🥎✨

As many of you know, my daughter, Michaela Edwards, pours her heart into softball. Whether she is representing Western Harnett schools in the classroom or playing on the dirt with the Broadway Bolts 14u, she always strives to do her best.

Thanks to her hard work, she was recently recognized on a much larger scale and has been individually selected and invited to compete at several prestigious international softball events, including the 10th Annual Puerto Rico Fastpitch Cup taking place Nov 25-29,2026.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a small-town player to compete against top global talent, but international travel, tournament entry fees, lodging, and uniform packages come with significant expenses.

Because she was selected independently, this is an individual athlete campaign (not a general team fundraiser), meaning our family is solely responsible for offsetting these travel costs.

We are looking for local businesses, family, and friends who might be interested in becoming an individual sponsor or donor to help get her there! We're hoping to raise $3,500 to cover her travel, lodging, tournament fees, and other expenses, specifically for the 10th Annual Puerto Rico Fastpitch Cup occurring on Nov 25-29, 2026.
