Help Mike & Bruno Rebuild

Hi, my name is Mike, and this fundraiser is for me and my dog, Bruno. We’re asking for help after losing our home of 14 years.

Earlier this year, the house I’d lived in for over a decade went into foreclosure. I had to leave the only stable home Bruno and I have known in a very long time, with very little time and very little money. I’m now on my own again for the first time in over ten years, trying to rebuild from almost nothing.

Right now, a long‑term friend has stepped in and given us a place to stay. Bruno and I have a roof over our heads because he was willing to take us in while I look for work and get my life back on track. I’m incredibly grateful, but I still have basic day‑to‑day costs I cannot cover on my own yet.

I’m raising $3,000 to cover about three months of bare‑bones living expenses while I work to get stable again. That includes:

    • Food and basic necessities
    • A small contribution toward household bills where I’m staying
    • Phone and internet so I can job hunt and stay reachable
    • Transportation to get to interviews and appointments
    • Bruno’s food and care

These are the basics that keep us afloat so I can focus on actually moving forward instead of constantly putting out fires.

On top of job hunting, I’m doing everything I can to turn my skills into income. I have a background in tech and 3D printing, and my friend is letting me use his 3D printer along with my own so I can try to build a small 3D printing side business from where I am right now. A small portion of what I raise here will go toward essentials like filament, a fair share of the electric bill, and basic business costs, so I’m not just asking for help but actively building a way to support myself again.

If we don’t reach the full $3,000, I will prioritize food, transportation, and other immediate essentials first, then put anything extra toward keeping the 3D printing work going. If we go over the goal, I will extend that three‑month runway and invest more into creating a stable income stream so I don’t end up right back in this situation.

I’m not a nonprofit or an organization. I’m just one person who lost his home, trying to keep himself and his dog safe and rebuild something solid out of a rough situation. Asking publicly like this is not easy for me, but right now I can’t do it alone.

I also have a GoFundMe specifically focused on the 3D printing side of this, for people who want to support that part more directly. You can find it here:

Any amount helps—whether it’s a donation, sharing this with someone who might be able to help, or just some encouragement while I work my way out of this.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to give.
