Help Miranda and Kids
I’m reaching out because my family is in urgent need of help. This is incredibly hard to share, but our situation has become overwhelming and we can’t get through it alone.
Over the past two years, we’ve faced ongoing financial and personal hardships that have left us struggling just to stay afloat. We are currently behind on rent and must move out of our home by April 10th to avoid eviction. Our plan had been to temporarily move in with my grandfather, where I’ve already been helping care for both him and my grandmother, who had serious health and memory issues.
Tragically, my grandmother recently passed away. At the same time, my husband is currently in inpatient care due to a mental health crisis. While trying to manage grief, support him, care for my children, and keep my small business going, I’ve also been scrambling to figure out where we can go next.
Just as we thought we had a temporary solution, a legal issue within my extended family has blocked us from moving in with my grandfather, despite his need for care and his request for us to be there. This has left us without a plan, time, or resources.
Right now, I am facing a fast-approaching deadline with no stable housing secured. We have a storage unit for our belongings, but beyond that, I don’t know where we will go. We are doing everything we can to stay strong and keep moving forward, but the weight of everything happening at once has become too much to carry alone.
I am asking for any support, whether it’s financial assistance, help with moving, temporary housing options, resources, or even just guidance. I am willing to work hard and do whatever it takes to rebuild, but we need help getting through this immediate crisis.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. I know times are hard for everyone but I truly truly appreciate literally anything at all. It truly means everything to us right now.
