My dad developed a spot on the side of his head. After a month or two, it got to a point it was hurting and he couldn't hear out of that ear. Eventually, it began causing headaches. He went to see his doctor and was told it looked like cancer. He was referred to another doctor who took a biopsy. Unfortunately, he got the call to say it is squamous cell carcinoma. He has now had two surgeries and is still trying to recover from them. He receives one SS check each month and after bills, he has about $200 left to last the month for food and essentials. This man is my rock and my hero. He has done so much to support my family over the years and I would, for once, like to give back to him and am asking for a little bit of help.
