❤️ Help My Family Heal & Rebuild After a Serious Accident

Hi everyone,

I'm starting this fundraiser for my mom, Tabitha, my stepdad, Gino, and my little brother, Dominic. It's never easy to ask for help, especially when it involves the people you love most, but our family has been going through an incredibly difficult time, and we could really use some support.

In early September, my family's lives changed in an instant when an ambulance struck their vehicle. Their car was new to them, and what should have been an ordinary day turned into an experience that has affected nearly every part of their lives.

Since the accident, my family has been navigating injuries, ongoing medical care, emotional trauma, and unexpected financial hardship. As someone who loves them, it's heartbreaking to see how much this has affected them, and I want to do whatever I can to help ease some of the burden they are carrying.

My stepdad, Gino, suffered a knee injury that was later complicated by an MRSA infection. My mom, Tabitha, suffered a broken right wrist and a neck injury. Because she is right-hand dominant, even simple everyday activities, such as brushing her hair and getting dressed, now require assistance.

My mom has dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse working as an LPN. Before the accident, she was just two college classes away from completing her education to become an RN. Now, her injuries have forced her to put those plans on hold and have prevented her from continuing to work. This delays not only an important personal goal but also the career advancement and significant raise she had been working toward.

One of our greatest blessings is that my little brother, Dominic, was not physically injured because he was properly secured in his car seat. However, the emotional impact has been heartbreaking. Since the accident, he has experienced nightmares and is afraid to ride in a vehicle. He has told us he is scared something will hit us.

As a family, we want Dominic to feel safe again while my mom and stepdad focus on healing.

The financial strain has added another layer of stress. Insurance has paid a portion of the vehicle expenses, but lost wages and mileage for medical appointments have not yet been resolved. Medical bills, copays, transportation, and household expenses continue to add up while my mom is unable to work and both of them navigate recovery.

I'm hoping to raise $10,000 to help my family manage these expenses and focus on healing rather than worrying about how to cover every bill.

Donations will help with medical expenses and copays not covered by insurance, transportation to medical appointments, essential household bills, and other necessary expenses during recovery.

Asking for help is never easy, but sometimes life brings challenges that are too difficult to face alone. My mom has spent her career caring for others, and now she needs that same care and support. I want my mom to have the opportunity to finish her education, my stepdad to have the time and support he needs to recover, and my little brother to regain his sense of safety.
