Recently I have come across a program that allows students to travel to foreign countries, learn important skills, and help out less fortunate countries. The program would enable me to learn about medical biology, which I plan on majoring in in college, and experience daily life of people in undeveloped countries over the course of 14 days in the summer. The particular program I am interested in is a program in Peru. While there, I would also get the chance to hike Machu Picchu and help out the community. I would greatly appreciate your support in helping me go on this life changing journey. The cost of the trip is a pricey $3,899, but through the help of friends and family, I would really like to raise enough money to allow me to go.
