Our cat Apollo and his brother Crybaby loved to spend their nights outside. They would play run and wrestle together. The are main coon and siamese mix. They are hunters, They hunt at night. They hunted just about anything but our chickens. They are the rodent gaurds of the farm. I once watched Apollo catch an adult rabbit as crybaby sat on the roof of the barn and watched. It was amazing how fast he was.

Our animals have become like children each one has there turn too the vet. Our dog winzer because he had a gash on his head they gave him antibiotices and was healed in no time. Crybaby was in about a month ago because he had a stick break off under his eye..hard to explain that, but he was lucky and was back outside they day he went in.

Apollo is not so lucky.

Twelve days ago,  Apollo was hit by a car. Somehow he drug his self back up too the house and under the deck. He has a large gash on his left rear leg, i could see his tendon when i found him and is right hip is out of joint. His wound was very dirty from dragging himself..the vet stitched him up and put a drainage tube in and many other things. That first bill was 380.00. She took the tube out 4 days later. 12.00 bucks. His foot was very swellon. We tried putting warm apson salt packs to bring it down. That did not work very well. His skin was starting to die and get very smelly so back to the vet he went. They had to shave dead layers of skin off his leg and put this suger cloth on help the skin to regrow. She also gave him some more oral antibiotics. the bill was 52.00. I brought him in yesterday, they took the wrap off his leg. It

is still bad but doing much better. They sedated him this time to do a better Job. The bill was 70.00. He will need another minimal of four sugar wraps and will need to have hip surgery after his wounded leg heals. We are looking at least another five hundred dollars to get him all fixed up. He may not be the hunter he was but he can still live a happy full filling life. 

We've done all this to help him and threw it all he has been loving and a great sport. He still has as lot of spunk and life. Besides his huge happy attitude... he crawls all over the house. He is eating drinking normally. everyday he becomes stronger..please help us afford to heel this soilder. Help us keep him alive and get him well. My daughter, granddaughter husband and Apolos brothers Winzer and Crybaby would be so grateful and less stressed and worried if we can raise enough money to pay his bills.
