After several years of severe progressive pain, trouble breathing, CNS dysfunction, and systemic painful benign tumors with fibrous bands to grow throughout her body, Precious (Arthur) Morgan’s doctors diagnosed her Lyme Disease, POTS, and rare disease (either genetic or auto immune) that cause the painful tumors to grow. phone service). She sold her home to move back to Portland in hope of finding better healthcare then COVID hit, her daughter was paralyzed in a traumatic auto accident. Her mother was home dying while her daughter as fighting for her life. Everyday, she had to choose between being there for her mother or her daughter. She slept on a cot by her daughter’s hospital bed for a year. Before passing away, her mother made her promise to not give up and do whatever it takes to get diagnosed and treated. She is still fighting. The funds from the sale of her house are gone. She is now in a care home praying it is temporary. She now has good doctors and hope but needs your support. Though she has had times of wanting to give up, she has not. 80% of her time is resting in bed. Sitting and standing is too painful. Lung issues make her short of breath walking to the bathroom. She still needs to find an advocate to go to doctor appointments with her.
