Help Precious Heal
Dear friends, family and those just meeting me here, Thank you for taking the time read. Though I have always been a survivor, often too proud to ask for help. I NEED the medications and treatment ASAP my doctors say I need! I need $1,000 by Oct. 2nd to begin them as I am declining. I am fighting my insurance to get them paid for but until I succeed, it will cost around $ 1,000 a month. The newest need is the medication to treat the painful growths in tissue behind my eye pressing my eye ball causing me immense pain. Insurance denied coverage. My body is fighting systemic benign painful tumor growth (Dr says possibly Decum’s Disease) in my soft tissue/fascia tissue from head to toe (surgery and pathology confirmed) lesions in multiple organ systems (imaging confirmed), Central Nervous System issues (New Neuro testing underway), and Tick born infections of Lyme Disease and Babesia (lab confirmed). After years of advocating for myself, confronting medical gaslighting in a broken system that pressures doctors to do minimal diagnostics, I am blessed to have recently found supportive doctors for Lyme treatment and Oncology to dig deeper into diagnoses and treatment. You too may have experienced the changes that put patients needs secondary to systems. My insurance will not cover the medications my doctors tell me I need. I struggle to breathe 24/7 from fibrous bands and tumors binding my ribcage and lung calcifications and pulmonary edema. These tumors and fibrous bands cause me systemic pain 24/7 as they press on nerves and pull tissue. I went through hell fighting our broken medical system to get this far. I cannot give up! I did try to end my life twice due to the extreme pain and dismissal from doctors. That is no longer an option! My daughters, granddaughter need me too much! I have been diagnosed with PTSD from medical mistreatment. I know some of you have asked “where did Precious go?” Without proper treatment, isolation and bedrest leaves me vacant from my once thriving social life, friendships, home design and my “Soul Sketches” business creating portraits of people and their spirit I see. It is in life’s biggest challenges that we learn the most. We all have gone through so much grieving and loss in recent years that we all know that feeling of hanging off the edge of a cliff without a net as the dirt crumbles waiting for that kind hand reaching out. We all need new hope and community. I now have new hope and am trying to do my part in building community. I have so much more life to live, art to create and love to share. My mother made me promise at her death bed to do whatever it takes to be heard and get through this. I cannot let her down. I am fighting my second SSI denial due to the delay in proper diagnoses which also drained my life savings. I have done my best to live a life of helping others when I could. It is humbling to publicly be so vulnerable and ask for your financial support. I am looking at another year fighting SSI with an attorney now. I believe I will get it approved. Once I do, the back pay will more than pay for my continued treatment. I live in a care home now but I have no means to pay for my needed medications, treatments, personal health care and nutritional needs. My GI issues make eating a challenge. I am determined to get through this and live to give back! I want to help people find the healthcare they need, be the advocate I wish I had found. I may be bald, broken and broke but I am still a brave woman with inner beauty and purpose. I have deep gratitude for even the smallest gift you may give in support. Blessings, good health and to you and those you love.
~Sincerely, Precious Angel (Arthur) Morgan
