Recently, Zoë was diagnosed with inflammatory mammary carcinoma, an extremely aggressive cancer that has already spread to her lungs and brain. The veterinarian told me there are no surgical options left, and that humane euthanization is the kindest choice for her now. The costs for her in-office IV catheter euthanization, private cremation, and having her ashes returned to me are more than I can manage alone.
