Help Save Angus!!

Update: Angus has been diagnosed with a rapidly growing pituitary cancer. It is pressing on nerves which caused the facial paralysis. It has also caused him to develop Cushing's, which comes with a whole new set of symptoms to manage. Cushings is basically an overload of Cortisol in the body, and when our primary vet administered steroids and anti-inflammatories, thinking he was treating infection and arthritis, it caused a severe overload, which triggered the seizures. He has not had another seizure since being taken off the medicine. He does, however, now have a whole new buffet of pills to take, mostly to control the symptoms of the Cushings. The tumor is inoperable, even if he was a puppy, but it isn't causing him pain. The facial paralysis is aggravating, but he's a trooper. So now, we make him as comfortable as possible, pay off VA Tech as best we can, administer his pills stuffed in Lil smokies, and give him eye drops every hour. He's not ready to go yet, he has made that clear, but when he is, we will be there to help him cross that bridge. Until then, we are going to focus on making the absolute best of the time he has left. Thank you all for all the shares, words of comfort, monetary donations, food donations, and emotional support. It's hard, but it's what we do for our babies. He has given his absolute best to us, and now it's our turn to return the favor. Please continue to share, and please donate if you can. This is going to be a very expensive few months, and his account at Tech is still just under $3000.

After everything we've been through the past 12 months, ouur Angus is now having concerning health issues that have gradually gotten worse. He is now paralyzed on one side of his face and his having multiple seizures a day. He is being admitted to VA Tech Animal hospital, amd the testing alone is going to cost upwards of $2-3,000. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Angus is Killer's emotional support dog, and with his upcoming open heart surgery, we need to try to do everything we can to help save Angus. Every dollar helps, even sharing to get the word out helps. Please help us save out baby!!
