It's been a really rough night. Cedar, one of the 8 week olds with my foster, crashed yesterday. He is now at West hills ER, and was diagnosed with Panleukopenia. For those who dont know, it is equivalent to Parvo / distemper. Cedar was always a bright and bubbly kitten, and within just a few hours, hes now fighting for his life on IV fluids. Please consider donating towards his care, as he will likely need 5-6 days at the ER in order to get through this. Help me help them. I do not have a photo of him after the crash, but this was him, just days before, which hurts all the more. For those who dont know, I run a non-profit animal rescue, The Silent Prayer, and do what I can to save our feline friends across LI.

UPDATE : The bill is currently at $5,300 after 6 nights at the ER. Please help donate towards the bill so the rescue can recover from this. We can only continue to save more lives like Cedar with YOUR help! He's needed ongoing supportive care in order to save him, and the doctors are very proud of how far hes come (and so are we!!!).
