My dad is very sick, and our family is facing a situation we never imagined we would have to go through. He has cancer, and his condition has become extremely serious. His liver, bladder, and kidneys are shutting down. He is on dialysis and has a port for the medications and treatment he needs for his heart.

Through all of this, my stepmom has never left his side. They have shared 32 years, and she is doing everything possible to care for him. Working a full-time factory shift to continue receiving health insurance, balancing hospital stays, doctor appointments, treatments, and the countless responsibilities that come with caring for someone who is seriously ill, is becoming overwhelming.

The financial pressure has become incredibly difficult. There are medical copays, prescriptions, medical devices, dialysis-related expenses, transportation to and from appointments, housing, utilities, groceries, and other everyday necessities. Even with insurance, so many expenses are not fully covered, and the bills continue to come.

We are asking for help because we don't want my stepmom to have to choose between being there for my dad and keeping up with the expenses that come with everyday life and his medical care.

Our biggest wish is simply to give my dad the care, comfort, and support he needs while allowing our family to spend this precious time together.
