Hello, I am a single mother working two jobs sometimes three, just to keep the bills paid. I have been in school for 2.5 yrs proudly earning my degree, and just recently had several major repairs to my older car that have totaled thousands of dollars, which has depleted all savings that I had put away for a rainy day, then here comes the holidays, of course it's car tax time, and winter oil bills on top of the regular monthly bills. Which leads me to say, I was frantic in thinking how can I send my son on this "once in a lifetime" opportunity 8th grade school field trip? A memory flooded my thoughts, as a young child, I too had the opportunity to visit our nations capitol and I will never forget how amazing the experience was and all the memories of a lifetime that were made.

I am proud and rarely ask for anything, but when I saw what was being offered, I put my pride to the side and said I am doing this for my son and I want to make this happen for him. I would love to have the opportunity to say to him, "you are going to DC with the school!" and how happy as a mom this would make me.
