Family, friends, and community members are coming together to support Shelly and RJ Buerman following the unexpected loss of Ron Buerman on June 7.

Ron was only 30 years old and leaves behind his son, RJ, his mother, Shelly, his brother, Tyler, and his father, Monte. His passing has left a tremendous void in the lives of those who loved him.

For the past several years, Shelly has lovingly cared for her grandson, RJ. Now, she faces the challenge of continuing to provide for him while navigating the emotional and financial impact of this heartbreaking loss.

RJ is a bright and fun-loving 9-year-old who attends Eudora Elementary School. He enjoys fishing, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.

Many people know Shelly through her work at the University of Kansas or from JT's in De Soto. Her warm smile, kindness, and ability to make others laugh have touched countless people in our community.

We are asking for your support to help Shelly and RJ during this difficult time. Donations will help cover memorial and legal expenses, medical and education costs and everyday living expenses as they begin this new chapter together.
