Hi. This is a fundraiser to help raise funds for Shiloh to get surgery that he needs to help repair damage from him getting hit by a car this morning.

This morning Shiloh (my grandpuppy) and Rae (his stepmom, my girl) jumped the fence and ran towards a busy street, and Shiloh was struck and his arm broken. We have our whole yard fenced and are having to add to our current fence periodically because they will find a new way to get out. We sit next to a vacant lot and usually they jump over the fence toward the lot to chase squirrels. I ALWAYS chase them and go after them. ALWAYS. I don't want them out running around. We live next to a busy street and I don't want them to get hurt. Much like kids, they still do it, even if it's dangerous. Every time I ask him, "WHY?!?!" he just gives me his beautiful face like he's saying, "I'm trying to live my best life grandma!!" Unlike some dog owners, I have been with Shiloh since the very beginning. A friend of mine wanted her dog to have a litter and I offered my dog, Oliver since he is the most wonderful dog you could have and her dog is pretty amazing too. They had a beautiful, healthy, litter. Shiloh's tag was red. I watched him grow, play, and with him, my dog (his dad), and his stepmother, it's a beautiful family unit. I am blessed to have them all.

Thankfully, Shiloh is ok otherwise but his break is pretty bad. He has a clean break on the large bone in his front right arm and a small break close to his wrist on the small bone. Unfortunately, that means he needs to see an Ortho Vet. His break on the big bone has the bones misaligned as well, they are sitting on top of each other. He will definitely need surgery. The cheapest quote we've gotten has been $3500-$4500. We need to get him the surgery as possible to make sure to give him the best outcome.

OUR FINANCIAL SITUATION:

Our family has been through a lot the last 3 months with my grandmother in and out of the hospital for the last 3 months and this has caused us to miss work. My mother (Shiloh's mother) has missed so much work to be at the hospital with my grandmother, she's missing days without pay. I have picked up the slack financially and am also the provider of food, etc. In June my car's engine gave out at 60,000 miles. Hyundai knew this was an issue and gave extended warranties. Unfortunately with this happening to so many cars, I have had to wait for Hyundai to send the turbo and the engine to repair my car. The turbo engines are on backorder and it's been 2 1/2 months of renting cars that Hyundai hasn't paid for. They refuse to pay for anything at all until the job is completely done. According to our case manager, they can only pay up to $40. During the height of summer, car rentals were much higher than that and that has left my husband and me to pay for the remainder and cover the pay back the cost of the rentals we've had since the over $6000 was put on credit, we've paid back $4000 in the last 3 weeks. This has left us in a tough spot with helping Shiloh to get the surgery he needs. I can think of nothing else to do than reach out for help.

Shiloh is so loved, by us and anyone who has had the chance to meet him. He is loving, cute, funny, and more. He's the baby and he's treated like the baby. He's like one of my children and I hate to think of him in pain or have a poor quality of life because the bone won't heal correctly and may break again and be back in this situation.
