Help Support Mary Woods
For nearly 14 years, Mary Woods has faithfully worked as a housekeeper at Kampgrounds of America (KOA), helping keep the campground's bathrooms and facilities clean and welcoming for guests and residents. She takes pride in her work and is known by those who know her as a respectful, caring, and joyful person who always does her best, even when facing challenges of her own.
At 56 years old, Mary is a single parent originally from a small town called Newellton in Louisiana but has been residing in Las Vegas, Nevada for half her life. She works hard every day, but like many people, she has been struggling with the rising cost of living. Despite working consistently, her paycheck simply doesn't stretch far enough to cover everything she needs.
Several months ago, Mary's car broke down, leaving her dependent on public transportation to get to and from work, medical appointments, and other necessities. The daily commute can be difficult and unreliable, yet she continues to show up and do her job with dedication and a positive attitude.
On top of transportation challenges, Mary is sleeping on an old, worn-out bed that leaves her waking up sore and uncomfortable each day. Her electric bill and other household expenses continue to rise, making it harder and harder to keep up with basic living costs.
With her birthday coming up on November 14, Mary has little opportunity to celebrate because every paycheck goes straight toward bills and necessities. She rarely asks for help and has always tried to handle life's challenges on her own, but right now she could truly use the support of her community.
We are hoping to raise funds to help Mary with:
Transportation and vehicle-related needs
Replacing her worn-out bed and mattress
Utility bills and essential living expenses
Medical appointment transportation costs
Providing some financial relief during this difficult time
No donation is too small. Every contribution will help ease some of the burden Mary is carrying and remind her that she is not alone.
If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Mary in your prayers. Your kindness, support, and encouragement mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping us give back to someone who has spent years helping others.
Happy Early Birthday, Mary. We hope brighter days are ahead. ❤️
