Help the Pope Family
Suicide Survivor
My family is struggling right now. My cousin, Tristan, attempted suicide on Monday, November 13, 2023. As we all know, adolescents are dealing with significant issues and some need help coping. Since Covid-19, our world has changed, schools have changed, families have changed. For those with mental health issues, life can seem unbearable and the thought of getting to the next day is overwhelming.
Globally, one in seven 10-19-year-olds experiences a mental disorder, accounting for 13% of the global burden of disease in this age group.
Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death among 15-29 year-olds.
Tristan is now in a medically induced coma and the odds are unknown. The doctors are trying dialysis to clean the kidneys out from the toxins and we are not sure how this will end up. The medical costs are accumulating rapidly, and dad had to take time off of work to go back and forth to the hospital. The household depends on his income for survival and right now their stability is shaken. We are asking for donations to help the family through this ordeal. Suicide has no boundaries, no social/economical targets, and will bring you to your knees in a swift swirling tornado that not many families survive.
Through this site, donations can go 100% percent to the family if you gift the fee. Any amount would help, and if you would like to donate gas cards, food gift cards, etc., please email me and we can arrange it. Thank you for donating, gifting, or even sharing this post. Anything helps. We also welcome prayers to help heal Tristan as well as his family.
Thank you! Hug your kids.
