My Story

I'm reaching out with a humble heart, asking for assistance during an incredibly difficult time in my life.

Recently, I experienced one of the most terrifying moments of my life when my vehicle's transmission unexpectedly failed while I was driving on the highway.

Without warning, service lights and error codes began appearing on my dashboard. Within moments, my vehicle completely stopped accelerating. I couldn't drive forward, reverse, or even pull off the roadway to safety.

I was stranded on a highway ramp while tractor-trailers and other vehicles sped past me, having to maneuver around my disabled vehicle. I was terrified, knowing that one wrong move from another driver could have resulted in a devastating accident.

I had no choice but to remain in my vehicle until a state trooper and highway patrol arrived to help move me to safety.

Unfortunately, this happened during an already challenging period in my life. After my employment ended, I applied for unemployment benefits but was denied. Despite my efforts to obtain assistance and regain financial stability, I have been left without the financial resources to cover this unexpected emergency.

Now, I'm facing the overwhelming cost of repairing my vehicle's transmission, which is essential for reliable transportation to and from work.

My goal is to raise $3,500 to help cover the necessary transmission repairs and get my vehicle safely back on the road.

I'm not looking for a handout to avoid responsibility. I'm simply asking for a helping hand during a difficult chapter of my life. I want nothing more than the opportunity to work, support myself, and move forward without this unexpected setback standing in my way.
