My name is Kalee Splashlight, and I have taken it upon myself to raise funds for a young friend in Africa. Captivated by his heartfelt posts on Instagram, where he shares his microshelter project, I was deeply moved, prompting me to reach out to him with the idea of organizing a fundraiser in support of his noble mission. Please consider donating or sharing this post to support my friend's noble cause of running a dog shelter in Uganda, Africa. Despite being only 19 years old and living with his mother, he has taken it upon himself to rescue numerous stray dogs in Africa who have suffered physical abuse and the threat of poison. 

Due to financial constraints, he has been feeding these dogs with whatever human food he can manage to provide. It was through his Instagram posts highlighting their plight that I became aware of his selfless efforts. My heart has been deeply touched by his kindness and dedication, which is why I have reached out to him to organize this campaign on his behalf. Instead of requesting monetary donations, he simply asks for contributions of food to support the well-being of these deserving animals.

Dear friends,

I am Bravo, a 19-year-old boy in Uganda who is dedicated to rescuing and caring for dogs in need. With the support of my mother, I have established the Brove Dog Shelter at our home. I started this journey in November of last year when I found a mistreated and starving puppy on the streets. It deeply moved me, and I made a promise to give him a better life and raise awareness about the importance of treating dogs with kindness.

Discovering the alarming mistreatment of dogs in Uganda, such as poisoning, senseless killings, and abuse, prompted me to take further action. I decided to create a small shelter at home, where I currently care for 10 dogs. Witnessing these beautiful souls living happily brings me great joy. However, my dream is to construct a larger shelter that can accommodate and rescue even more puppies, providing them with the lives they deserve.

I am reaching out to you, dear friends, with a humble request for your help. With your generous donations, we can save man's best friend from the hands of heartless individuals. This has been my lifelong wish, and I believe that together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these innocent souls.
