My name is Krista. I'm here today to ask for your help to make my dream of becoming a mom a reality. We are looking for help to raise the costs to adopt a baby.

My entire life I've wanted to be a mom. When I wasn't sure about anything else in life I still knew that my purpose was to be a mom. 

I have something called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which causes infertility among other things. After years of trying and fertility doctors, the dream to have my own child with my husband is no longer possible. It breaks my heart, but I feel like adopting a baby will help to make that dream come true.

I am a step-mom. I love the kids with all my heart, but I missed those baby bonding years. I've missed the first words and first steps. I've missed the sleepless nights, baby bottles and diaper changes. I've missed the chance to be called mom. I have so much more love to give to a special little one. The kids have also been asking for a little brother or sister. 

My husband Mike and I have been working very hard to try to save money for adoption,  but it seems very hard to reach that goal on our own. Our chances to adopt a baby would be better accessed through private adoption. Unfortunately, this can cost up to $50,000. Something that just isn't attainable for us. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity would not go to waste.
