Help Us get back to good

Help Us Get Through This Difficult Season

My name is [Your Name], and asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve always believed in working hard, solving my own problems, and taking care of my family. Unfortunately, life has thrown us a series of challenges that have left us struggling just to keep our heads above water.

A few months ago, my girlfriend and I relocated to Live Oak for what seemed like a great opportunity. We were both promised steady work with good pay, and for a while things were going well. We worked hard, saved money, and began building a future here.

Then everything changed.

The work gradually disappeared, our income dropped dramatically, and we suddenly found ourselves relying on a single paycheck. We used every dollar we had saved just to keep a roof over our heads and our bills paid.

Recently, my girlfriend was hired by Suwannee Correctional Institution, where she’ll be earning a stable income. It’s an incredible opportunity, and we’re thankful for it. To make sure someone could care for our stepson, Elijah, during the summer and around our schedules, I had to leave my full-time job and accept evening work. I have another job lined up that begins July 6, but until those paychecks start coming in, we’re caught in a difficult financial gap.

Right now, we’re simply trying to make it from today until both of us are receiving regular paychecks.

On top of everything else, I’ve been dealing with a severe toothache that may be an infection. The pain has become overwhelming, but right now we can’t even afford to have it examined.

We’re not asking for luxury or comfort. We’re asking for a chance to catch our breath.

The funds raised will help us:

  • Pay overdue rent and utility bills.
  • Keep reliable transportation so we can continue getting to work.
  • Buy groceries and gas.
  • Cover basic living expenses until both incomes are steady.
  • Seek treatment for my dental emergency.

Our goal is $3,000, which would allow us to catch up on our bills and get back on stable ground. Once both of us are working consistently, we fully expect to support ourselves again. This isn’t a long-term situation—we just need help bridging the gap.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean more than words can express. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with others would help tremendously.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for giving us hope during one of the hardest seasons of our lives.
