Help Us Guide Families From Crisis to Recovery

When someone you love is struggling with addiction or behavioral health challenges, one of the hardest questions is often the simplest:

Where do we turn for help?

Families can find themselves overwhelmed by treatment options, insurance questions, intervention services, transportation concerns, and uncertainty about whom they can trust. During a crisis, they shouldn't have to navigate all of that alone.

My goal is to build a service that helps change that.

Why I'm Starting This

For more than 32 years, I have worked in the substance use disorder and behavioral healthcare field. My career has taken me through direct patient care, counseling, clinical and program leadership, business development, human resources, operations, and regulatory compliance.

I've seen this field from many different perspectives.

But one thing has remained constant: people and families often need someone knowledgeable to help them understand their options and find the right resources.

That's why I want to create a nationwide behavioral health and recovery navigation service focused on one straightforward mission:

What We Will Provide

The business will serve as a resource for individuals, families, treatment professionals, and others looking for trusted behavioral health and addiction recovery services.

Our planned services include:

• Treatment Consulting & Navigation — helping families understand treatment options and determine appropriate next steps.
• Treatment Referrals — connecting individuals with licensed treatment providers based on their needs, location, insurance and other considerations.
• Intervention Referrals — connecting families with experienced professional interventionists when additional help is needed.
• Sober Escort Referrals — connecting individuals and families with appropriate recovery transportation and sober escort resources.
• Family Support & Guidance — helping families understand the treatment process and locate resources throughout the recovery journey.

We won't promise that one treatment center, interventionist, or service is right for everyone.

The goal is to help people understand their options and make informed decisions.

Why This Matters

Imagine receiving a call from someone whose son, daughter, spouse, parent, or friend desperately needs help.

They may have never dealt with addiction before.

They don't know what detox is.

They don't know the difference between residential treatment, outpatient treatment, or other levels of care.

They don't know whether insurance will cover treatment.

They don't know how to arrange an intervention.

They may not even know how they're going to safely get their loved one to treatment.

And they're trying to figure all of this out during one of the most frightening moments their family has ever experienced.

That's the gap I want this organization to help fill.

Instead of spending hours searching the internet and making call after call, families should have somewhere to start.

One call. Many answers. A better path forward.

What Your Donation Will Help Build

This GoFundMe is intended to provide the startup resources needed to turn this mission into an operating organization.

Contributions will help with website and technology development, business formation and compliance, professional and insurance expenses, communications systems, marketing and community outreach, development of a nationwide referral network, and initial operating expenses.

I want to build this responsibly—not simply launch another website.

That means developing relationships with reputable providers, creating appropriate policies and procedures, establishing responsible referral practices, protecting confidentiality, and building an infrastructure capable of supporting families when they reach out for help.

This Is More Than a Business to Me

After more than three decades in behavioral healthcare, I've watched people enter treatment frightened and uncertain and later rebuild their lives.

I've watched families begin to heal.

I've also seen families struggle simply because they didn't know where to turn.

Those experiences are the reason behind this project.

I believe my years of experience can be put to work in a new way: helping people navigate an incredibly complicated treatment system during moments when clear guidance matters most.
