Hi my name is ashley I am a single mother to a four year old little boy

In 2025 me and my grandfather who has raised me since I was born were in the process of buying a mobile home here in soddy Daisy tn everything was going great until March 19th of 2025 that's when I woke up to my grandfather laying in his bedroom floor having a stroke he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance he had a massive hemorrhagic stroke on the right side of his brain it paralyzed him on his left side

He was in the hospital for months until he got to come home

They wanted to send him into a nursing home but that was out of the question I worked in nursing homes and seen first hand how people are treated so that was not happening

So he be home well the day he had his stroke we got approved for our mortgage and got approved for our mobile home he wanted so badly to be back home in soddy where he grew up so that's what we did so come July we had moved into our new to us home and everything was ok I was working and my mom was helping me take care of my son and my grandfather her dad until July 25 my birthday I lost my job

I had applied at another nursing home and had an interview well when I lost my job I lost my help with my son and grandfather and was begging people in my family to please help me so I could go back to work and no one stepped up then my mom on the day of my graduation from getting my GED gets into a car wreck and is sent to the hospital

It hurt her neck and she had a small brain bleed so she could no longer help I asked aunts cousins and other family for help so I could go back to work and nothing so here I was with no job a toddler and a disabled grandfather to take care of on my own his retirement an social security paid the bills well come November of 2025 our car engine blows up so there went out only means of transportation

Again I begged family for rides and ways to get my grandfather back and forth to his doctors appointments and only a hand full of times did that happen then it got to where it's oh I can't we have this or that so from November of last year till May 26th when my grandfather passed away I had no help

When he passed I found out he had no life insurance I was his beneficiary in his will and there was no money to pay anything up so I could keep our home I was able to pay junes bills but that is all

I'm never one to ask for help I'm always the one they come to to ask for help or money or a place to stay and now that me and my son need help to keep a roof over our heads or help so I can go back to work it's oh sorry we can't help so now it's June 14th and all I have is my lot rent for next month and I don't know how I'm going to pay the rest or find a car

So come July me and my son will be homeless I don't have family to help me so I'm having to ask for help on here

So please if you can help please help me not lose mine and my sons home
