Help Us Rebuild Our Home

“Help us rebuild our Home – After the Storm”
On the eve of September 19th thru the early morning of September 20th, Hurricane Maria blew through St. Croix, a US Virgin Islands as a Category 5 hurricane packing winds of 175+ mph. It left in its wake a complete devastation of the infrastructure. To date, there is no functioning hospital; a majority of its residents are without electricity and a significant amount of individuals are without access to clean water. It is projected that these services are not expected to be fully restored prior to the start of 2018. As the days pass on, people are growing more desperate for basic resources such as food, water, fuel, and healthcare. This is a true humanitarian crisis unfolding within the United States!
The road to recovery is slow and expensive especially at a time when you are uncertain when your place of employment will be operational again. Right now as you are reading this there are many families whose homes are devastated and left in ruins. Some have had to grapple with the certainty of no real assistance from their homeowner's insurance policies. Others are desperately waiting on disaster relief services from FEMA.
Unfortunately, our family is one of those that have been personally impacted by the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria and we are in need of new hope.
OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $100,000 to cover most of the rebuilding expenses.
Please consider this plea for help! We are grateful for any and every form of assistance you can provide. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Respectfully submitted,
The Griffith Family
