On August 29, 2017 Colleen Winfree and her family were evacuated from their home due to torrential flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey near Vidor, TX. The unimaginable has happened and they have suffered extreme loss due to damages caused by the floodwaters, including a vehicle.  The outpouring of support by Colleen's friends and loved ones from across the country has led to the creation of this campaign page. Thank you for giving generously to help this family get back on her feet. 

Colleen does not have renters insurance on her house to help cover flood damage. She has applied for assistance through FEMA, but so have 325,000 others as a result of this storm. While we are hopeful, it will most likely be a long time before she gets any answers regarding aid.

Funds from this campaign will help replace items lost in the storm. They lost almost everything but each other but are do placed in two different locations. She wants her family back together.
