we’re about to lose our storage unit that has EVERYTHING we have left!

An Urgent Appeal: Securing Our Last Belo

I am reaching out today in a surrendering, cry for help. After an unimaginably difficult year (I know it’s been a tough year for many—my heart hurts for us all), my primary focus and desperate call for help right now is to secure the last bit of stability for my children and myself. We are quickly approaching a non-negotiable deadline to resolve the outstanding bill on our storage unit.

If we cannot raise the necessary funds by November 7th, we will lose literally everything to auction.

A Year of Survival

This past year has been non-stop survival mode, in constant "fight or flight." We were made homeless in February, which forced us to put all of our belongings in storage. For the first time, our children had to stay with their grandparents just to be safe while we navigated hotels and campsites. Every dollar we earned went toward keeping us housed, fed, and keeping our storage unit paid. We were scraping by, but we were staying afloat.

Just when we were clinging to hope, our car broke down—for good. Our ability to work came to a complete halt. Our income stopped, and the funds we did have quickly depleted. The storage bill grew and the stress piled up immensely.

The Immediate Crisis

The chaos and stress were simply too much, and now my husband of 11 years has decided it’s time for us to part ways. The children and I are faced with moving into a shelter for now, and the only things we have left to help us start over are contained in that storage unit.

As an entrepreneurial, homeschool family, the unit holds all that we’ve accomplished and all that we were building: our children’s toys, clothes, memories/keepsakes, furniture, school supplies, vital business inventory, and necessary supplies. Losing it means starting over with nothing but the clothes on our backs.

The Immediate, Critical Need

Most importantly I need to pay the outstanding bill of $700 by 11/07/25

My overall goal is to raise $1000 to cover the following:

1. $700 to pay the balance and stop the auction.

2. $300 to cover the cost of a rental truck or moving service to safely move our belongings from the unit.

I know I cannot overcome this alone. I am asking with gratitude in advance for any blessings you can provide. Every dollar truly adds up and is a crucial step toward giving my kids a foundation of familiarity again!
