My name is Alex, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. Life has taken some tough turns for me and my kids recently. After going through a difficult divorce and battling an extremely rare and debilitating illness — AHP (Acute Hepatic Porphyria) — along with stage 3 heart failure(end stage), I’ve found myself in a position I never imagined: starting over from zero.

Despite these challenges, we were recently blessed with something incredible — we were approved for a townhouse. A place to finally call our new home. A place of stability and peace. But we need help getting across the finish line.

The deposit and moving costs total $3,500 — and after exhausting all options, every last bit of savings, and navigating unemployment while fighting for disability, I just don’t have it. I’ve done everything I can, but right now, I can’t do this alone.

This isn’t just about four walls and a roof — it’s about rebuilding a life with my kids. A place where I can continue to fight for my health, be the father I want to be, and create a sense of normalcy after so much loss and instability.
