With my fixed income I find groceries and housing to be very expensive. Making payments on this debt is hurting my ability to buy groceries and pay rent.

I did cancel my credit card. It was the only one I had. I decided it was time, since I had gotten by without it for four months. I won't use a credit card again. I learned my lesson. I would still appreciate help with the debt. The debt is still there accumulating interest.

I knew it was a bad idea to use a credit card. I used the card because it helped fill the gap between payday at the start of the month and receiving food benefits mid-month. It helped again when food benefits ran out.
