I'm reaching out during a really difficult time and could use any help you can spare. My husband recently left me and our child unexpectedly, leaving us without his income. I'm starting a new job soon, but my first paycheck doesn't come until mid-January and right now I'm struggling to cover January rent and keep our phone on (which I need for work and staying connected). Both bills are due real soon and I’m trying everything I can think of, cutting expenses, applying for aid, etc. We live in Auburn WA, and I'm doing everything I can to get by. I've applied for local assistance and am working hard to get back on my feet. I need a little bridge to get through this month before I have regular paychecks agian. Even small amounts would make a huge difference. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help keep a roof over our heads while I start this new chapter.
