Anna (a pseudonym) is living an unspeakable nightmare and needs help. Domestic violence--and the power and control tactics that abusers use--has separated Anna from her young daughter. Her abuser is engaging in post-divorce abuse and most recently filed a completely fabricated protection of abuse order. He has a high-powered attorney doing everything he can to rob Anna of her rights to her daughter. She will have her day in court in mid-May but desperately needs an attorney to represent her.  Luckily, she found an outstanding attorney who will take her case but she needs financial assistance to pay her legal fees.  Please consider helping.  She is remaining anonymous to protect the identity of her and her daughter.  

The love she holds for her daughter is enormous.  She is a dedicated, devoted, compassionate, involved, loving mother whose love for her child is unconditional and unwavering.  Despite her hardships, she has always stood on her own two feet, taking pride in supporting herself, and rebuilding a life for herself and daughter that is completely free of all abuse.  

She has not had physical or verbal contact with her daughter since April 23 and is suffering immensely. Unlike previous Mother's Days, this Mother's Day she will not be able to enjoy the day, make memories, see or even speak with her daughter to tell her how much she loves her.  She does not like asking for help but realizes that she needs to in order to keep her daughter.
