Hello, my name is Melissa. My family and I have decided to start this campaign to help someone who means the absolute world to us. My cousin, Anna Welch.

Anna may as well be another sister to me. I love her. She and I have been through so much together and thanks to her I know I made it to the other side. Anna is the kind of woman who will always be there for you. She will do anything in her power to help anyone she can. Anyone who knows Anna knows that she is a wonderful person, with an amazing work ethic and a loving single mother of three, incredible children. She is always there for everyone and now is the time that I, my family and all of her friends give back.

Anna found out today that she has Follicular Lymphoma. It is a non-Hodgkin's form. It is incurable at this time. She was told by her doctor that while chemotherapy may slow the progression, it would not extend her life. He gave no time frame for life expectancy. He said it is a slow growing form of cancer.

Anna has had a few biopsies and several appointments over the last several months. She asked that we not make a fundraising page because she was not sure what was going on and really didn't want to "bother" people.

Well I, unlike her have no issue bothering anyone. I am asking for everyone who reads this to consider donating whatever they are able to, to help Anna.

She will be going for a second opinion and to explore her options at a cancer research facility in Philadelphia. We are fundraising to help Anna with medical expenses, deductibles and to help with any time off from work she may experience.
