Meet my dear friends, the Hansens! Christopher and Amanda, kids Lizzy (3 months) and Eddie (4 yrs), and the furry children, Roxy, Sonic, Cookie, Snickers, and Minion. The Hansen family was hit with an overwhelming and unexpected blow 5/8/18 when a freak accident threw Chris off a Razor scooter and into the hospital.

    Despite an optimistic initial assessment in the emergency room, Chris' condition crashed and he was rushed into emergency brain surgery to remove the large clot from his brain. Due to the severity of the injury, Chris was kept in an induced coma for 5 days to allow his brain to heal. 

    After a slow and frightening wake up process, Chris was released from the ICU and transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation center and a week later was released to go home. Chris was sent home with a piece of his skull missing and is unable to return to work until a surgery to put it back and his recovery is complete.

    As you can imagine, the financial impact of 2 weeks in inpatient care plus extensive brain surgery is overwhelming. Any amount you are able to contribute to this cause would be met with immeasurable gratitude!
