When people offer to help our rescue with pickups and transport, our 501(c)(3) isn’t able to pay them for mileage or supplies — those expenses come out of their own pockets. Our rescue does not pay volunteers, and all donations made to the rescue are used strictly for the care of our kittens. I’ve had incredibly generous people spend an entire day driving to pick up kittens and bring them to me purely out of kindness.

I’d like to raise some funds for the most recent rescue mission, as well as future missions, so these amazing volunteers can at least be reimbursed for gas and other out-of-pocket expenses related to kitten transport and supplies. Every dollar raised will be used solely for these costs. This fundraising effort is not through our 501(c)(3).
