Henry's Epilepsy
Hello my name is Cameron and if you're here reading this, thank you. I'm here on behalf of my boyfriend Henry Bryant. He is 18 years old and just recently graduated from South Meck High School. The past few months have been the greatest struggle of both of our lives. Back on July 17th we were out camping with some friends and Henry had two back to back grand mal seizures. This was an extremely scary and traumatizing day for us and our friends. We got him emergency help and they did a CatScan of his head which came back clear. We were relieved and continued on but both of us living in fear of something to happen. August 26th, three days before Henry's 18th birthday, he had two focal seizures laying in bed next to me. At the time I wasn't sure what was going on or what to do. His bpm got to 160 and so I called the ambulance. His primary care doctor put him on Keppra until he could get to a neurologoist. Once he got to the neurologist transitioned him from Keppra to Depakote. He has also had MRI's done since. We are drowning in medical bills. Henrys insurance only has partial coverage and we have had to pay out of pocket hundreds for hospital visits, ambulance rides, medication refills, doctor visit copays, the different imagings hes had done. We are still struggling intensely to get these paid. We have reached out to family looking for help and this is our last resort. Any donations will go directly to paying off the medical bill we have for his hospital visit on August 26th then imaging bills from the MRI's. Any and all donations help. Share around if you can, everything is helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this. This really means a lot to me I just want to make sure the person I am taking care of is healthy and stable. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
