Her Boys, Her Legacy — In Loving Memory of Christine

There are certain people who leave a mark on your life simply by being who they are. Christine was one of those people.

Christine grew up in Pennsylvania and eventually built a life filled with family, friendship, caring for others, and plenty of adventures outdoors. She was loyal, kind, loving, and the kind of person you were grateful to have in your corner.

Caring for others was also part of who Christine was professionally. As a labor and delivery nurse, she spent her career helping mothers and families through some of the most important and unforgettable moments of their lives. She gave so much of herself to others, both at work and outside of it.

And anyone who worked with Christine probably remembers something else about her—she was always hungry! Food was never far from her mind, and no work potluck was complete without Christine’s buffalo chicken dip.

Outside of work, Christine was happiest enjoying the outdoors. She loved mushroom hunting, fishing, crabbing, and spending time outside. She also adored her dog, Piper, who was a beloved part of her life.

But above everything else, Christine loved her boys, Kyle and Alex.

They were the center of her world and her greatest love. Whether they were fishing, crabbing, exploring the outdoors, going to trivia together, or simply hanging out, the time Christine spent with Kyle and Alex mattered more to her than anything.

Christine’s passing has left a space that can never truly be filled. Kyle and Alex have lost their mom, and they are now facing a future neither of them ever expected to navigate without her.

That’s why we’re coming together.

This fundraiser has been created for Kyle and Alex—to help support them now and in the future and to give them some additional security as they move through this incredibly difficult time.

Christine spent her life caring for people. She welcomed babies into the world, she served her country, loved her friends fiercely, spoiled Piper, and most importantly, loved Kyle and Alex with her whole heart.

Now we have an opportunity to give some of that love back.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward helping Kyle and Alex. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser, telling a story about Christine, or simply keeping her boys close in your thoughts means more than you know.

There will be so many things that bring Christine back to us—a walk through the woods during mushroom season, a day on the water, a dog that reminds someone of Piper, your toes in the warm sand or one of the countless stories that begins with, “Remember when Christine…”

Those are the moments that keep someone with us.

And Christine will always be with us through the two people she loved most.
