Supporting Highwood Hills Families in a Time of Fear and Uncertainty
Families in the Highwood Hills community are facing an incredibly difficult moment. Recent federal immigration enforcement actions have created widespread fear and disruption, leaving many of our neighbors unable to safely go to work, buy groceries, or meet basic needs. Parents are staying home to protect their families. Children are carrying anxiety no child should have to carry.
This fundraiser exists for one simple reason: to help families survive.
The funds raised will go directly toward:
- Rent and housing support
- Groceries and essential household supplies
- Basic living expenses for families who have lost income or mobility during this time
This is not about politics or party lines. People from all backgrounds and beliefs live in Highwood Hills. We know that many who donate may hold different political views—and still believe that families deserve dignity, safety, and stability. Compassion does not belong to one party.
Right now, our neighbors need relief. They need to know they are not alone.
If you are able to give, please do. If you can’t donate, sharing this page is also a powerful way to help. Every contribution—no matter the size—makes a real difference for families trying to get through an impossible moment.
Thank you for standing with the Highwood Hills community and for choosing humanity.
