My name is Tom Jalinski, and I’m about to embark on the most challenging and meaningful journey of my life: hiking the Ice Age Trail—one step at a time, one mile at a time, proving that resilience, faith, and purpose can carry us through anything.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve faced battles most wouldn’t dream of. From surviving chronic infections, multiple amputations, and heart disease, to navigating the depths of pain and uncertainty, my journey has been anything but ordinary. But through every challenge, I’ve learned that the human spirit is stronger than we ever imagined.
This hike is not just about the miles—it’s about redefining what’s possible and showing that obstacles don’t have to define our future.
