Holiday Covid-19 Relief
With our city's homeless community in mind, we have launched the Holiday COVID-19 Relief Fund. Our Holiday COVID-19 Relief Fund will help to make an impact on families at three homeless shelters on the South and West side of Chicago during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The effects of COVID-19 through our country and our city has hit low-income families and communities of color the hardest.
According to the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, there are about 77,000 homeless people in Chicago. This new reality is devastating for families at some of these shelters who were barely making ends meet before this public health crisis.
