Home HVAC died, Need help

The bad started back on June 2nd 2026 I fell at my job down 7 cement stairs and cracked a rib and bruised up my right side. Missed some work dealing with alot of pain, still trying to completely heal, then on father's day trying to bring joy to my 6 year old daughter and finace. My car keys got lost? This started the journey to depression/anxiety and feeling hopeless. $450 dollars later still a key cant be made and may cost more. 2 days later the major problem strikes and that is our homes HVAC system going out. Our unit is an older unit that is rarely able to be service or fixed due to it being an obsolete refrigerant (very hard to get) and conpressors they say aren't made anymore. Which is R22.. We have had 2 Heating and air companies come out, friends of friends who deal in the industry and veing told the whole system needs to be replaced. Being quoted from $8500 to $10000 for a whole new unit. Between missing some work and not making alot, im at my roped end. I feel my life is just over. My fiance, my little girl and myself have been mostly living in our master bedroom with a 110 window AC and a borrowed standing AC thats barley making the house cool. It says during the day around 85 to 88 degrees in the home and around 78 to 75 in our room. This is not fair to me little girl to see me like this, to live like this, im trying my best to provide, work, stay positive and strong for everyone but I feel im losing 😌. House payment, all bills, electric, water, car insurance, etc. Being placed on the backburner due to these out of the blue circumstances. I feel the world in on my shoulders and coming here trying to maybe find hope.

God Bless to you all. Sorry for the long description
