I am an older budding artist who is an incest survivor turning thriver on social security/disability and late diagnosed autism. My partner is an elderly man on social security who does have his health issues and very much wants to spend the rest of his life with me. As of April 30th, 2026, our lease goes to monthly which means people can be removed or added as I see fit. Due to something that happened last year, I had one person removed from the voucher and now he can be removed from the lease as well without us breaking it. Given his continued pattern of withholding snail mail (he is the mailbox key holder and there is only one key), refusing to help out financially, passive-aggressive behaviors and other things (along with being viewed as an unwelcome guest by HASCO), both my partner and I want him to move out so we can feel safe again. We still owe $1472 for the security deposit (have checked with various agencies but no funding anywhere except st Vincent de Paul but they have to be last) and the property owner is complaining about not getting the security deposit. I am now asking for possible donations so we can feel safe again in our home.
