Homegoing for Mike Cason
In memory of Mike Cason, who just today, after fifteen long months of a vigorous fight has been called to his heavenly home to rest.
Mike will be remembered as "the guy who will take the shirt 'off his back' for anyone in need." that's who he was! A man who loved his family, who had a great sense of humor, and who was generous in service and deed.
As his family grieves and begins to regroup...I ask can we come together to pay it forward for them! Can each of us be a person who "takes the shirt off our backs for them"?
I believe we can! I believe in the power of collective kindness, in its very tangible life-changing effects. Each of us has this power, and if this is reaching you know that it is no accident...you have this power too!
This is one of those moments when all people, can come together to lessen the load, remind those in deep pain that they are not alone.
We affirm that his generosity in life by being generous with his loved ones at his departure. We can conserve his modest principle to his grandchildren... that good will come to you when you need it most, from expected and unexpected sources with a gift of --any-- amount.
If everyone reading this gives something, together we can do what none of us could do on our own. It all adds up, so please give what you can - great or small.
Thank you for your generosity and empathy. May your kindness return to you in the same ways it was given.
