Hi, my name is Marcus, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life. I recently lost my job and, as a result, lost my housing too. Right now, I’m homeless and just trying to find a safe and stable place to begin rebuilding my life.

I’m a father to two amazing young adult daughters. They’ve supported me as much as they can, but I don’t want to continue being a burden on them. I want to be able to stand on my own two feet again — to work, to live, and to provide support instead of needing it.

This isn’t easy to share, and it’s even harder to ask for help, but I truly believe in fighting through the hard moments. I’m not looking for a handout — just a little help to get over this hill so I can start moving forward again.

The money raised will go toward a few weeks of temporary shelter, basic supplies like food and hygiene items, and transportation so I can actively look for steady work. That stability will give me the foundation I need to start again.
