Help Us Give Christine Collins the Farewell She Deserves

I never imagined I would have to write something like this for my mom, especially while she's still physically here with us.

My name is Nichole, and I'm asking for help with funeral expenses for my mother, Christine Collins.

My mom has been battling advanced liver cirrhosis, and her health has been declining for some time. However, nothing could have prepared us for what happened on November 3, 2026.

My mom was found unconscious and unresponsive and rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a massive brain bleed. She had to undergo emergency brain surgery, during which they removed part of her skull to relieve the pressure on her brain.

Despite the surgery and the efforts of her medical team, my mom remains in a coma. Her condition has continued to deteriorate, and we have now been told by her doctors that we need to begin making funeral arrangements.

There are no words to describe how heartbreaking it is to sit beside your mother, knowing she's still here physically, but being unable to talk to her and hear her voice again.

What makes this even harder is that just days ago, my mom was looking forward to Christmas. She had already started buying presents for her grandchildren. None of us imagined that instead of preparing for the holidays, we would be preparing to say our final goodbyes.

As her daughter, I'm struggling to come to terms with everything happening so suddenly. No matter how old you are, you're never truly prepared to lose your mom.

While we are spending what precious time we have left with her, we are also facing the financial burden of making her final arrangements.

The traditional funeral package we have been considering costs approximately $7,350, and that does not include cemetery expenses, death certificates, taxes, or other additional costs.

We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help cover these expenses and give my mom the beautiful and dignified farewell she deserves.

I'm not someone who finds it easy to ask for help, but right now, our family needs it.
