In honor of Xander, Tamatha is asking for support for this deeply personal journey after an unimaginable loss. Xander was a seven-year-old nonverbal autistic boy who tragically drowned in Lake Oconee, Georgia, on February 3. Tamatha’s daughter wants to take Xander’s ashes to every state in the country, including Hawaii and Alaska, leaving a small piece of his ashes in each place so that, in this meaningful way, Xander can visit every state. Tamatha will be traveling alongside her daughter for this journey, standing with her as they honor Xander’s life, keep his memory close, and search for a little comfort through such heartbreaking grief.
