On November 16th, our close friends Charlie “Chali” Hayes and his wife Jeanna Hayes were taken from this world in the most heartbreaking and unimaginable way. Their loss has shattered their family and everyone who loved them.

Chali and Jeanna weren’t just parents and grandparents — they were the backbone of their entire family. They were the steady, everyday support system that held everything together. They raised their granddaughter, now 18, as their own child. They showed up for every milestone, every struggle, and every moment she needed someone in her corner. Now she’s suddenly facing adulthood without the two people who guided her entire life.

They also leave behind their children, who are now trying to navigate the impossible — grieving both parents while figuring out how to keep the family’s home-improvement business, CW Hayes, moving forward. Chali poured everything he had into that business, and Jeanna was always right there beside him, keeping their family running with a quiet strength everyone depended on.

This fundraiser is for their family as they face funeral costs, immediate financial needs, support for their granddaughter, and stability during a time when their entire world has been taken from them.
