Honoring Racquel Parsons
Campaign created by Mrs. Casey Hansen & Mrs. Jennifer Graham, Third Grade Teachers, Sheiko Elementary
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of one of our own. We are deeply saddened by the death of one of our teachers, Racquel Parsons, who passed this past weekend. Racquel Parsons was a resource room teacher who worked for the West Bloomfield School District at Sheiko Elementary School. She was a mother, a sister, and a daughter. In lieu of flowers, we will be taking donations to support her son as he begins college in the Fall at Tennessee State University.
She will be remembered amongst her students and colleagues for her warm smile and friendly demeanor.
"Ms. Parsons was a good person to me. She was my new resource room teacher and I loved her very much. I wish I got to spend more time with her. I will miss how funny and silly she is. She helped me every single day with my work. I am thinking about her family. Her son is a senior in high school and she talks about him a lot. I want to raise money for Ms. Parson's family. I love you Ms. Parsons and I will miss you very much."
