My Dad, Bob Hersh just wants to live. He wants to live to see his wife happy again, he wants to live to see his grandchildren grow up and most importantly he wants to live for G-d and to help and serve others. 

My Dad retired 2 years ago after working for over 45 years in the automotive and aerospace industry. In retirement he was devoting his life to helping zoo animals and protecting the enviroment. When he found out he had cancer he was creating a free puppet show for children.  It has been a long hard battle since then. 

He has been through several radiation treatments, but each time he ends up in the hospital with serious complications, including sepsis, which almost took his life. He also developed serious infections in his throat which required intubation and left him unable to properly swallow. He now has a PEG feeding tube, but is in good spirits and is determined to fight this. He wants to get back to treatment as soon as he can. Unfortunately, his last hospital stay has left him very weak. My Dad wants to get stronger so he can receive radiation and immunotherapy and beat this terrible cancer!

Without the strength to pursue conventional radiation and immunotherapy he is left with very few options. Fortunately, I his son, Dr. Joshua Hersh NMD, am a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and have had the fortune of learning from some of the top experts in integrative and naturopathic oncology. Unfortunately many of these treatments are not covered by insurance, including nutritious food for his PEG. (PEG food has to be specially made so it does not clog up his feeding tube.) There are also a few treatments that have been studied in clinical trials that provide hope to both reduce his pain, improve his quality of life, and help him increase his strength, so he can return to treatment. Please help us provide him hope for many more years of life!
