Hope for Harper's Heart
Harper Avery was born June 1, 2018 with a Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). HLHS is a birth defect that develops during pregnancy, where the left side of the heart doesn't form correctly. Unfortunately, Harper is part of a very small percentage of babies that surgery is not an option to fix HLHS. Harper is currently in Gainesville, FL waiting for a heart transplant. Harper currently has a Berlin Heart Device in to assist her heart while waiting for a new healthy, heart. Harper will remain in Gainesville, FL until after she receives a heart transplant and is cleared to come home to Orlando, FL.
Harper is very loved by her Mommy (Theresa), Daddy (Mark), and big brother (Matthew), as well as by many family members and friends! This page is an opportunity for any family and friends to contribute to Hope for Harper's Heart fund. Donations will be used by the family to pay for medical related expenses associated with transplant and travel. Harper's family requests prayers for Harper and her new heart!
