Hope, Hard Work, and a Dr
My name may not be familiar, but my situation may be. I am a 64-year-old man living in Belton, South Carolina, a small town with a big heart. I have worked hard most of my life, and now I’m reaching out with hope and determination to build a better future.
I live with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and emphysema. These serious health conditions make it impossible for me to work a traditional full-time job. I receive disability benefits, and I’m grateful, but rising costs mean it barely covers basic bills like rent and utilities.
My dream is to start a small food truck. This would allow me to work at my own pace while managing my health. More importantly, it would give me purpose again and a way to contribute to my community.
Every donation helps move this dream closer to reality. If you cannot donate, sharing this would mean just as much.
