Hope4Hymes: Aid & Love

Dear Family, Friends and Community,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share the story of John Hymes and his family. On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, tragedy struck when John experienced Ventricle Fibrillation and Cardiac arrest while driving home from work. Fortunately, he managed to pull over and stop before the situation worsened. Since then, John has been receiving treatment from some of the best doctors in the area. However, we have been confronted with the devastating news that the lack of oxygen during the incident has resulted in severe brain damage.

John is a remarkable individual—a man of faith, a loving father, and a devoted husband. He has touched countless lives through his involvement as a volunteer coach in the local little league and his dedicated support for Trail Life, a program he actively participated in with his boys. Known for his mischievous pranks, his competitive spirit, and his love for playing cribbage and golf, John was an integral part of his community. Moreover, he was deeply involved with the deaf community, where he served as an IT specialist at a school for the deaf, while being hard of hearing himself.

Those fortunate enough to know John have witnessed his unwavering positivity and support for others. He always had a kind word to share and a willingness to lend a helping hand. Now, it is our turn to support him and his family during this unimaginably challenging time.

While we may not know the final outcome of John's journey, we have an opportunity as a community to alleviate the financial burden his family faces. Medical expenses, ongoing care, and daily necessities are among the many challenges they are currently confronting. Together, we can make a difference and provide the support they need to navigate this difficult chapter in their lives.

We humbly ask for your contributions to the fundraiser we have set up for the Hymes family. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a profound impact and bring them one step closer to stability and peace of mind. Let us rally together and show the power of compassion and unity during their time of need.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
